About Us : The Beginning : Many years ago, after leaving my permanent nursing job, I planned to become a locum nurse. I later began working as a locum nurse in London, which meant working in different hospitals and going to a different workplace depending on where I was booked to work. At that time, I carried a large, deep bag for my nursing assignments. Everything was mixed together, and finding one small item could be very stressful, especially when I was running late for a handover. I would be searching through my bag, moving things around, trying to find what I needed ;a pen or a fob quickly. I already knew what I needed from a bag for locum nursing. It needed to carry everything I needed for work, while keeping things separate. My uniform and work shoes needed their own space for hygiene reasons, while my keys, fob, pens and snacks needed to be easy to find. I also needed somewhere to keep my belongings, as I wasn't guaranteed a locker in every hospital. But I couldn't find a bag that worked the way I needed. So I decided to make one myself. My first prototype was a three-tier bag, handmade using an ironing board cover. The Journey : I continued making prototypes by hand. As I developed the bag, I began to see that the idea could be useful beyond nursing, for women living a modern city life. The purpose was always simple: keep things separate, give everything its own place and make things easier to find. Living and working in London showed me how much we carry through the city every day - work, after work, the gym, shopping, city breaks and everything in between. But after years of making prototypes, it seemed that the design was difficult to manufacture, so I made another version with detachable tiers to see if this could be a better way to make the bag. Finding the right manufacturer was a huge challenge, but I finally found the right partners to help bring the idea to life. Today : After all those years of making prototypes, changing the design and searching for the right manufacturer, the idea has finally become a real bag. And I have to say, the first sample they have made is beautiful. It is elegant, practical and exactly what I had imagined all those years ago. I would honestly buy it myself, and that makes me very happy! The bag is now ready, and I can't wait to share it with you.
